Job Purpose
Support the development and implementation of AI and machine learning solutions across Sleekabyte's products and internal operations. The AI/Machine Learning intern will work with engineers and product teams to build, test, and optimize intelligent applications while gaining hands-on experience with modern AI technologies and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, training, and evaluating machine learning models for real-world applications.
- Support data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis to improve model performance.
- Assist in conducting research on emerging AI and machine learning techniques and recommend practical applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI models into web and mobile applications.
- Assist in developing AI-powered features using APIs, large language models (LLMs), and other AI services where applicable.
- Monitor model performance and contribute to testing, validation, and continuous improvement.
- Document experiments, model performance, and technical processes.
- Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and project meetings.
- Stay updated on advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
- Familiarity with Python and common AI/ML libraries.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis.
- Understanding of APIs and version control tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
